Ever since I can remember, creativity has been a part of my life. I learned to knit when I was just five, sitting under the table in my mom’s needlework shop, happily working away on dishcloths. Making things with my hands has always brought me joy, whether it’s sewing, crafting with my Cricut, or designing on my computer as a graphic designer.

Joy&Mae is a blend of all the things I love—creating beautiful, functional items and sharing them with others. But what makes it even more special is that I’m now passing on these skills to my daughter. I’m teaching her to sew and involving her in the business, and it’s been such a meaningful way for us to connect, learn, and grow together.

There’s something so rewarding about making things that brighten someone’s day, and I hope that comes through in every item we create. Whether it’s a little pouch, a bag, or something totally unique, I truly hope it brings a smile to your face.
